When I was a kid and when my dad was around he would burst a sutali bomb (cracker) near our window. The sound would wake us up and this would be our start to the Diwali celebrations. From dahi pohe to Kala chana usual, we followed all the traditions to the T". The actor is currently in Pune to celebrate the festive eve with her family and she adds that" I will start the day with applying ubtan (a paste made of coconut oil, turmeric and chickpea flour) then follow it with feral (Diwali snacks). I really miss those old days when we would celebrate with everyone in the colony and have friends and family over. It is unfortunate that children nowadays do not get to experience the fun and festivities like before.” Moreover, the actress also said that she loves to do Rangoli outside the front door of her home.
