HYDERABAD: PanchayatI Raj Minister M S Dayakar Rao announced on Sunday to address the beneficiaries of the Stree Fund in Torur and Pedavangara mandals in Mehboobabad district, the Telangana government has decided to implement a scheme called Fund Security for Women. Under this, women are eligible for a loan of Rs 690 for one-time fee scheme and they are eligible for loans which will be repaid in instalments easily within a period of three years. The Minister said that anyone who joins the scheme will get up to Rs. One lakh to his family. "The development of your family, society and country is in your hands. You should make sure that the loan you take will help you grow. Between 2020-21, the state government has given a loan of Rs 2,400 crore under the Stree Fund. According to the Deccan Chronicle, Rs 1,140 crore was given to 2.40 lakh women in the state. Total loan is Rs. Rs 19.9 crore was given to 1500 members of Mahabubabad district. Of these, Rs 14.02 crore is for purchase of dairy animals, Rs 75 lakh for electric vehicles and the rest for other purposes. "Beneficiaries should buy good breeds of cattle that can produce more milk. The loan amount is Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 75,000," says the minister.
