VHP rages on Telangana government, accuses of hurting Hindu sentiments

Hyderabad: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has recently accused the Telangana government. They say that the Telangana government is working to hurt 'Hindu sentiments'. They said that the Telangana government is working to create obstacles in the Ganesh festival by banning it. Recently VHP International General Secretary Milind Parande talked about this. He said, "The state government is imposing many conditions on the organizers of the festival".

Apart from this, Parande also said that "Telangana government is hurting Hindu sentiments and creating many obstacles in the conduct of Ganesh festival. Members of VHP and Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Committee were in favour of the government's proposal that mass immersion and worship should not be held in compliance with COVID-19 rules". He further said, "But now the state government is imposing many conditions by threatening the festival organizers, Bajrang Dal and VHP workers. Police have also registered a case against 25 workers".

Apart from this, he said that the police have forcibly removed the pavilions built in many places. During this time, he has also committed the crime of harassing and threatening with vulgar language. They say the 10-day 'Ganesh Chaturthi' festival started on Saturday but due to Coronavirus, the festival is being celebrated with restrictions. He is also saying that 'the state government is imposing many conditions by threatening the festival organizers, Bajrang Dal and VHP workers'.
