Telangana Home Minister appealed for vote to minority people, recalls party works toward them

On Friday, Telangana State Home Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali came on political ground to appeal for votes. He addressed in the Nagarjuna Sagar assembly Constituency. He urged the minorities to vote for TRS candidate Nomula Bhagath in the by-elections to Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly Constituency to support the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who was committed for their welfare.

 

In a meeting Mahmood Ali said that the state government has taken up several schemes for the welfare of the minorities. The Chief Minister has accorded second language status to Urdu in the state, he pointed out. He added “In addition to officially conducting Ramzan festival, the state government is extending honorariums to Imams and Mouzams. The government is also extending financial assistance for the purposes of marriages of Muslim women under Shaadhi Mubarak,”.

In this meeting He also praises government and remind public about government working toward minority welfare. He said that government provide financial assistance to students in minority for higher education. Thousands of minority students were getting educational facilities through minorities residential schools, which were set up by the TRS government, he said. Minorities should support the TRS keeping in mind its commitment towards their welfare, he urged. Here, Mahmood Ali assured that he would extend help for the development of a masjid and Kabaristhan in Peddavoora mandal. Chennur MLA Balka aSuman and others were also attended the meeting.
