Hyderabad: Four members of a family allegedly committed suicide under the burden of the loan in the Mancherial district of Telangana. According to the police, the body of a man, his wife, daughter, and son was found hanging from a noose on Thursday (March 25) in a house in Kasipet Mandal. Investigations have revealed that he embraced death after being fed up with the loan. According to the police, a relative of the family said that the person had been doing farming for the past several years. He had leased agricultural land, but recently his crop was destroyed. Apart from this, he had also taken a loan for his daughter's marriage last year. A senior police officer said that during the initial investigation it was found that the person had taken a loan from some people. He was burdened with a debt of millions of rupees. The official said that the family probably took this drastic step for the same reason. A suicide note allegedly written by the head of the family has also been recovered from the spot, stating that he is not in a position to repay the loan, the official said. For this reason, he has decided to commit suicide along with the family. The police have registered a case in this regard and further investigation is being done.
