Hyderabad: Due to heavy rain for the last few days the situation in Telangana has worsened. Police officers have recently helped a pregnant woman. They have taken her to the hospital by a tractor. Due to heavy rains people in Telangana are facing problems. Flood-like conditions have arisen due to excess rain. It is being told that many rivers are flowing above the danger mark. Some police officers helped a pregnant woman and brought her to the hospital. According to the information, the name of this tribal woman is Eladi Swapna. She hails from Sirsa, a remote village in Kotapalli Mandal in Mancherial district. She is pregnant and needed to go to the hospital in Chennur. The Tutumga river was flowing near the village, due to which all transportation was being interrupted. She was suffering from pain. The Telangana Police told that Circle Inspector Nagaraju and Sub Inspector Ravi of Kottapalli Police Station came to know about Swapna's plight, after which they took her to the hospital. They crossed the Tumumutaga Dhara, Edullabandham and Linganpeta villages and took the pregnant woman to Chennai Government Hospital. The people there appreciated the policemen and while talking about this, they said, "The police saved the woman by risking their own life".
