Telangana unfurl 290 ft high National flag on State’s second foundation day

On Friday, K Chandrasekhar Rao, the Telangana Chief Minister hoisted the National Flag tied to a 291-ft tall mast on the occasion of the state’s second formation day.

The flag was hoisted at the Sanjivayya Park overlooking the picturesque Hussain Sagar lake in the heart of Secunderabad city. The unfurling of the flag is part of the elaborate celebrations that have been undertaken by the state government on the occasion of the state formation day.

Telangana came into existence on this day in 2014 as per the Andhra Pradesh Re-organisation Act.
