Tendulkar's 'small request' on Holi as Sehwag has a blast

The ‘God of Cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar Indian cricket team legend, brought joy to a billion Indians with his legendary knocks and painted the country blue.

On Monday, as the nation celebrated Holi, the festival of colour, the maestro joined in the celebration but made a small request to fans. “May this #Holi add more colours to your life. Have a happy & safe Holi! Also, a small request to save water :),” Sachin wrote on his Twitter account. 

On the other hand ‘Multan ke Sultan, Najafgarh ke Nawab’ Virender Sehwag said he was celebrating a no holds barred Holi. “Playing Holi Jamkar! May the festival of colours spread joy, peace, happiness, wealth, and celebration in your life. #HappyHoli!,” he wrote on social media.

Indian Test Skipper Virat Kohli too had a special message for fans on the festive occasion of Holi. "Happy Holi everybody. Have a great day today. Please make sure no harm is done to the animals on the streets. God Bless all."  

Rohit Sharma, Irfan Pathan and Mohammad Kaif also wished fans on Holi.
