New Delhi: A terror attack has been busted in the national capital Delhi before the 72nd Independence Day celebration on August 15 by the security agencies. The agencies have arrested a Kashmir youth as who they found explosives on Sunday night from a bus that was bound to the national capital in Jammu and was in possession of that youth. As per news agency PTI, the youth was identified as Arfan Wani. He was arrested with eight grenades in Gandhi Nagar area. According to the reports of police the youth was a resident of Awantipora in Pulwama district. The police also seized Rs 60,000 cash from the possession of youth. Intelligence agencies, police and other security agencies are on high alert. The information by the agencies said that the terrorist of Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed and Hizbul Mujahideen have planned to take place terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir and New Delhi on the Independence Day. A high alert declared in Jammu in the wake of the new inputs. The youth who has been arrested is being cross-examined about the plans and his links in the national capital, the police stated. Worth mention here the Supreme Court on Monday will hear the petitions in the case of the validity of Article 35A which restricts people from outside Jammu and Kashmir from owning any steady property in the hilly state. In the wake of hearing the police are on high alert in order to control the situation in the state if any incidents are reported.
