On Independence Day, patients have been given relief by AIIMS, the largest hospital in the country. Now in AIIMS, the tests priced below Rs. 500 will be free. AIIMS is working on this plan and it will be implemented soon. This proposal will be referred to the Health Ministry. If this proposal is passed, then patients will not have to spend money in their pockets for many tests such as blood test, X-ray, ultrasound test in AIIMS. According to Dr. Randeep Gularia, Director of AIIMS, the hospital is currently working on this scheme. If this plan applies, then we will have to increase the fees for the private ward. According to the English newspaper Hindustan Times, there are more than 10,000 patients treated every day in AIIMS those who do these tests. Almost 2000 people are admitted to the hospital daily. Every year, AIIMS earns about 101 crores only through these tests, admission fees, and registration fees. AIIMS has made this decision after making 15 doctors' committee.
