Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Thaawarchand Gehlot have been sworn in as the 19th Governor of Karnataka today i.e. In fact, he is replacing Vajubhai Rudabhai Wala. Thaawarchand Gehlot was appointed governor of Karnataka on July 6 and was among the 12 Union ministers who resigned from Prime Minister Narendra Modi's council of ministers ahead of the Union Cabinet expansion on July 7.
