Mumbai: Former Mumbai Commissioner Param Bir Singh has been a part of the headlines these days. As part of the recent information, the process of issuing lookout notices in the extortion case against him and another case has started. In fact, Thane police have started the process of issuing lookout notices. Police have been searching for him for several years under the information received but are still absconding. According to recent information, an FIR has lodged against Param Bir Singh as well as 28 persons on July 30. The FIR was lodged at Thane Nagar police station in several cases including ransom, intimidation. With this, a complaint has now been registered against former commissioner Param Bir Singh on the complaint of fourth FIR bookie Ketan Tanna and Sonu Jalan. In the case, it has been alleged that the police along with gangster Ravi had forged the case. 1.25 crore from Ketan Tanna, Rs.3.45 crore from Sonu Jalan, and Rs.1.50 crore from Kiran Mala for non-action and removal of names from the list of accused. It is being said that Sanjay Punamia had extorted Rs 1.5 crore from Parambir Singh by promising not to remove him from the list of accused.
