The actress who accused Mukesh said this about the government

A few months ago, a sexual harassment case was registered against the ruling CPI (M) MLA and actor M Mukesh in Kerala. An actress accused him of sexual harassment. Now the same actress has said that due to a lack of proper support and protection from the Kerala government, she is facing difficulty in pursuing her complaints.

Actress says negligence is happening: Reports say that the complainant actress has also accused the state government of negligence. She said that she is mentally exhausted. She says, 'I want to tell everyone, I have suffered more than I can bear. I am mentally exhausted. They are not helping or protecting a woman. So I do not want to pursue the cases. It is not because I have compromised with anyone.' She further says that when she complained about the sexual harassment case, she was made a criminal in the POCSO case and the government did nothing to protect her.

Declared herself innocent: Regarding this, the actress says, 'I am innocent. I want justice. I want a thorough and speedy investigation of the POCSO case against me. If I commit suicide, the government will be responsible for it.' Actually, the whole case is that Muvattupuzha police had also registered a case against the female actress under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act on the basis of a complaint lodged by her relative.

Allegations after the Hema Committee report: Media reports say that the actress has also accused big professionals of the film industry of sexual harassment. She has made these allegations after the disclosure of the report of the Justice Hema Committee. In which cases of harassment and exploitation of women in the Malayalam cinema industry were revealed, after which she has also appealed for action against the culprits.
