Businessman Santram Agrahari died in a deadly attack on Wednesday night in Gosaisinghpur market of Sultanpur district. The miscreants shot him when he was returning home from his fast food shop at around 8.30 pm. The miscreants on bikes surrounded him near Motigarpur turn and attacked him. Santram was taken to Lucknow Trauma Center in critical condition, but he died on the way. There was a huge outrage among the traders after this incident. When the news of his death spread on Thursday morning, all the shops in the market were closed and protests started. Police have deployed a large number of forces in the market to control the situation so that no dispute escalates. The police took immediate action and registered a murder case against five people including BJP leader Arjun Patel. These include Arjun Patel, Deepak Patel, Raj Verma, Saurabh Verma and an unknown person. The case was registered at night on the instructions of SP Somen Burma. ASP Akhand Pratap Singh said that after the fight between the children, the rivalry between the two sides had increased, due to which this violent incident took place. The police is searching for the accused and the case is being investigated.
