The Communist Party got two-third majority in parliament: Nepal Polls

 

The Communist Party of Nepal (Left Alliance) - Unified Marxist Leninist (CPM-UML) and the Maoist Centre - they have got 2/3 majority in the parliament in Nepal polls.The vote counting for 1 seat is still available by 11 pm on coming Tuesday, the data from the Election Commission (EC)of Nepal displayed 80 seats for the Unified Marxist Leninist(UML) followed by state Maoist Centre with the victory over 36 seats.

The Unified Marxist Leninist (UML) also has maintained its leads in the remaining vote count for the seat. The difference between the Unified Marxist Leninist and the Nepali Congress is said to be about 90 thousand votes.The Nepali Congress party has been confirmed to 22 seats in the parliament prompting the president of the party, Sher Bahadur Deuba, to step down as the acting prime minister.

The Rashtriya Janata Party(RJP) has got 11 seats in the parliament election."In case the collaboration between Unified Marxist Leninist and Maoist Centre fails, the Nepali Congress will gain the position of the second party from the parliament on the basis of the seats gained," Poudel said.The merger of the parties is as yet is to be completed.As per the predictions made from the politics pandits of Kathmandu, the Unified Marxist Leninist is hoped-for to get seats between 120-125, Nepali Congress between 60 to 65 and the Maoist Centre between 50 to 55.from the votes counting and the results of the House of Representatives and the Provincial Council afoot in Nepal, the new government is expectable to be formed by mid of January.
