John Abraham's production films whether it is Vicky Donor or Madras Cafe, deals with unusual subject matter. And now, he is back as not only the producer but also as the lead in his next titled Parmanu - The Story Of Pokhran. The film is based on the nuclear test conducted at Pokhran in 1998 and is slated to release on December 8, 2017. The film's first look has been unveiled by makers. On Twitter, John shared the poster by saying, "So happy to bring you the first look of my biggest test ever. #ParmanuFirstLook @johnabrahament @kriarj @ParmanuTheMovie" In the film, Diana Penty will be seen opposite John. About the film, John had earlier stated, "I have never been in a hurry to produce films and have been searching for subjects that are engaging... stories that resonate with the current socio-political and economic mood of the country. This film fits in perfectly with my pursuit, and I am also happy to start my association with Prernaa and Arjun."
