The Godfather 2 actor Danny Aiello dies at 86

Hollywood actor Danny Aielloo has died. Danny was 86 years old and had been ill for some time. He had achieved a lot by playing a supporting role in many films. His performance has been appreciated by the audience. Danny Aielloo's performance in the blockbuster gangster film Godfather 2, released in the 70s, was greatly appreciated. Apart from films, he was also a part of many popular TV shows.

In a statement given to the media on behalf of the family, it was said, 'We have to say with great sadness that Danny Aielloo dear father, husband, grandfather, actor and musician died due to illness. During this time the family has demanded privacy and the service arrangements will be announced by the family soon.

Filmmaker Kevin Smith mourned Danny's death and recalled his character in the film Do the Right Thing. Since his death, celebrities of the film world are giving him a tribute. Filmmaker Kevin Smith praised the actor for his commendable work in 'Do the Right Thing'. Talking about Godfather 2, he played a small but memorable role in the film. He was in the role of Tony Rosato. The role was small, but his dialogue 'Michael Corlioni to Hello' was quite popular.

The actor first worked in films like Identity film Bang the Drum Slowly. He was accompanied by legendary actor Robert De Niro in the film. Apart from this, he also worked in films like Fort Apache the Bronx, Once Upon a Time in America, The Purple Rose of Cairo and Hudson Hawk.
