The limited-edition EV MINI Cooper SE Convertible emerges from concealing

USA: For the international markets, the Cooper SE Convertible has been unveiled by venerable automaker MINI. A small batch of 999 units total will be made for the drop-top EV.

The car's modern design philosophy is adhered to, and it keeps the majority of design cues from the basic hatchback model, as highlights. An electric front-mounted motor with 181 horsepower is available for it.

With the Cooper SE model, the iconic British automaker MINI, which is owned by BMW, joined the electrification movement in 2019, as the entire automotive industry gradually shifted its focus towards green mobility solutions.

The third-generation MINI hatchback upon which the EV was based was well received by both customers and reviewers. To raise the desirability factor, the company has just unveiled a limited-edition convertible model.

The MINI Cooper SE Convertible comes in two colour options: Enigmatic Black and White Silver, and it maintains the general styling of the hatchback model overall. It sports a fabric drop-top roof, designer 17-inch alloy wheels, an oval-shaped projector LED headlamp, a grille surrounded in chrome, rounded ORVMs, and a clamshell bonnet with an operational air scoop. There are LED "Union Jack" taillights available for the back.
