In the trends till now, BJP seems to be winning unilaterally. There is an atmosphere of happiness among the BJP supporters in country. Meanwhile, Congress party youth leader Hardik Patel has expressed disappointment over the party's defeat. Speaking to media personnel in Gujarat, Patel said, "Hindustan ki janata haari hai." This roughly translates to, 'the people of India have lost'. He joined the Congress party in March of 2019 but was not allowed to contest the Lok Sabha elections because of his conviction in a rioting case which goes back to 2015. While his disappointment is not entirely unwarranted, the abysmal performance of the Congress party in the state of Gujarat has left no room for criticism. Despite the claims made by INC and its top brass, allegations levelled against Prime Minister Narendra Modi seems to have little or no effect on the party's vote bank in his bastion, Gujarat. This is not the first time that Hardik Patel has targeted the Bhartiya Janta Party through tweet. Even before that, he has taken BJP to his target many times. The disappointment of the defeat of the Congress can be seen not only in Hardik, but also in other Congress workers. Now the party has to wait for the next five years to gain public confidence. According to the latest trends, BJP President Amit Shah has taken a considerable lead in Gandhinagar against Congress' Chavda Chatursinh Javanji. Celebrations have already begun at the saffron party's offices across Gujarat and especially in Gandhinagar. Click here for Live update also read: BJP candidate Anurag Singh Thakur wins
