The Revuelto, an Italian brand's replacement for the Aventador, has been revealed

Rome: We have had tidbits of information about Lamborghini's Aventador replacement for months now. We informed you of its upgraded carbon fibre structure and new plug-in hybrid powertrain. It is now time for the complete disclosure.

The Revuelto, which will take the place of the Aventador, has been revealed by the renowned Italian brand. The supercar has an eye-catching exterior, cutting-edge technology, and a more functional interior.

How is the durable Aventador to be replaced? Returning to the drawing board, you begin from scratch with your imagination. Lamborghini has indeed carried out that.

With its signature Lamborghini design cues, the Revuelto looks the part as the Aventador's successor. But it is designed for the contemporary consumer who wants performance, more comfort, and a little bit of history.

The Revuelto is impressive. It has Y-shaped running lights that resemble those on a Lamborghini Sian, which go well with the tapering, sculpted hood and the edgy scissor doors.

The massive, hexagonal twin exhaust tailpipes and Y-shaped corner taillights dominate the car's rear end, which is also home to a moving wing element. The monofuselage, frame, and other body panels are made of carbon fibre.

A new 6.5-liter V12 engine with 814 horsepower and three electric motors are combined to produce 1,001 horsepower by the Revuelto. If the numbers don't mean anything to you, just know that the car has a top speed of over 350 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2.5 seconds. The 3.8-kWh battery pack also gives it a double-clutch gearbox, four-wheel drive, and an EV mode.

In contrast to the snug cabin of the Aventador, the Revuelto is more roomy, contemporary, and comfort-oriented. Inside, you'll find premium upholstery, dual-tone bucket seats, 3D graphics, animations, and more. Three screens are present: a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, an 8.4-inch touchscreen in the centre, and a 9.1-inch letterbox display in front of the passenger that can be set to display pertinent trip data.

Supercars are known for having ludicrous performance numbers, but they can still dazzle us when other vehicles can't. The Revuelto can continue to operate safely even after a puncture thanks to the run-flat technology of its tyres. The company claims that the car's specially developed Bridgestone "Potenza Sport" tyres allow it to travel at least 80 kilometres at an average speed of 80 kilometres per hour while using 0 bar of pressure.

Although Lamborghini has not yet disclosed the Reveulto's final price, the order books are already full for the first two years of production. Later this year, those at the top of the list of orders will be able to parade the car through the streets.
