Emily Gold, a 17-year-old dancer and cheerleader from California, has sadly died by suicide. Her body was discovered beneath an overpass in Rancho Cucamonga late Friday night, September 13. The San Bernardino Coroner’s Office confirmed her death occurred at 11:52 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene and Public Information Officer Rodrigo Jimenez reported that Emily was struck by at least one vehicle in the carpool lane of eastbound 210.

Emily’s death follows her recent appearance on "America’s Got Talent," where she and her Los Osos High School dance team impressed audiences and advanced to the quarterfinals. Their performance, which ended in August, earned them a standing ovation from judge Simon Cowell.
