Chennai: The corona epidemic has caused panic across the country, with cases of coronavirus infection in Tamil Nadu increasing steadily. Daily frightening figures are coming out of the state. In view of the increasing cases, speculations were being made that a lockdown could be announced once again in the state. But all these speculations have been rejected by the state Health Minister. Tamil Nadu Health Minister Drs. Vijayabhaskar has said that at present there is no strategy of lockdown. AIADMK candidate from Viralimalai constituency Vijayabaskar told in an interview with Kathleen Antony that the government hopes for public support. As of last year, there is currently no strategy to lockdown again in the state. However, in the last 12 days, cases of corona in Tamil Nadu have increased and are increasing. Currently, the rate of increase in corona cases in the state is 135 percent, which is worrying. On March 25, 1,779 cases of the corona were reported in Tamil Nadu. Of these cases, 664 cases have been recorded only and only from Chennai. Apart from this, 162 cases have been reported from Chengalpattu, 153 from Coimbatore, and 108 from Thanjavur. In the last 24 hours, 1027 patients from Corona returned home after recovering. On the other hand, if we talk about the death figures, due to this, 11 people died from the corona. In view of the continuous increase in cases of infection, the Tamil Nadu government postponed classes of classes 9th, 10th, and 11th at the beginning of this week.
