New Delhi: The Delhi Police's Special Cell has taken three accused into custody in connection with the murder of a man in the Sangam Vihar area of the national capital on April 10. The arrested accused have been identified as Mohammed Rashid, Deepak and Rohit. The police also seized a pistol and a pistol from the trio. The police said that apart from murder, the trio are already booked in cases of attempt to murder and robbery. CCTV footage of the murder in Sangam Vihar was also revealed. In which it is clearly seen that in what way some miscreants went to the meat shop of a man named Rahul with not only a pistol but also a stick. According to the police, the quarrel started on March 28, when Rahul, who runs a meat shop in Sangam Vihar, along with his family members, started beating Rashid's family members over something. Since then Rashid had come to seek revenge. Rashid hatched a conspiracy to take revenge on Rahul and then along with his accomplices came to Rahul's shop on the evening of April 10, armed with pistols and sticks. At that time, uncle Hukum Singh and a couple of others were present at Rahul's shop. As soon as they reached the shop, all of them started assaulting Rahul and Hukum Singh. Meanwhile, Rohit and Deepak opened fire. A bullet hit Rahul's uncle Hukum Singh in the head, killing him on the spot. The bullet was fired at Rahul but nothing happened to him. Police registered an FIR in the case and initiated action in the matter. Meanwhile, the Special Cell of Delhi Police received information that two of the miscreants, Rashid and Deepak, were scheduled to reach Khanpur around 9-10 pm on April 13. After this, the police laid a trap on the spot and both of them were taken into custody. The police have also recovered a pistol from the duo and after questioning the duo, they also arrested Rohit.
