After Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s marriage in Italy and honeymoon in Finland, the couple finally organised a reception for friends in Mumbai on the 26th of December. The reception was held in the sparkling St. Regis hotel and was surely a star-studded event. The couple went all out and invited the cream of the crop for their wedding.
Bollywood top celebrity like the Bachchans, the Kapoors, Virat’s cricket family are among the few glamorous faces that graced the event with their presence.From Reliance group Nita Ambani was also present to celebrate the couple and give them the best of wishes from the Ambani family.
On the other hand, there were a few great stars who couldn’t make it and missed out on this auspicious evening. Among them were Anushka’s co-actors Salman Khan who celebrated his birthday yesterday and PK fame Aamir Khan.
Anushka’s co-star and rumoured ex-lover Ranveer Singh also decided to ditch the wedding. Other close friends who missed the wedding includes Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone and Akshay Kumar. However, they have expressed their happiness and best wishes to the couple in some way or another.
