These figures will give relief in the midst of panic from Omicron variant

New Delhi: The new Corona variant has caused a panic all over the world, despite the fact that the new Omicron variant obtained in Africa has lasted all over the world, but the crisis is not as severe as fear. Several countries, notably South Africa, have imposed travel restrictions on other African countries. According to media sources, Omicron is seven times quicker than the delta form, although it has been in Africa for the past two months, with both new cases and mortality dropping.

According to the African Medical Association, the new corona variant Omicron has been present throughout Africa for the previous two months. The patient infected with this form, on the other hand, is not in any danger. Africa is home to around 17% of the world's population, although it only has 4,200 corona cases each day, down 86% from Europe. When it comes to corona fatalities in Africa, the continent has a 26% lower rate than Europe. In Europe, the number of corona cases and fatalities is rising faster than in Africa. Three of Europe's 45 nations are represented. Every day, 63 lakh instances are received. More than 3800 people have died thus far. These are the current examples of delta variations in Europe.

Omicron cases were confirmed in the United Kingdom only a few days after they were discovered in South Africa. Other European nations have now reported occurrences of the novel corona omicron variety. Governments all across the world are working hard to halt the spread of this new strain. Concerns had already grown in Belgium, Botswana, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, and Israel before the omicron versions were obtained. Travel to South Africa is prohibited in several countries. The current covid vaccination for the omicron form is expected to be ineffective. According to experts, it may be too late to impose limitations to avoid omicron.
