This 3 lakh car will soon rule everyone's heart

The electric vehicle market in China is growing rapidly and now a new small electric car is in the news. This car is Bestune brand's Xiaomi, which was launched last year. The specialty of this car is that it can run up to 1200 kilometers on a single charge and its price is between 30,000 to 50,000 yuan (about 3.47 lakh to 5.78 lakh rupees).

Bestune Xiaomi features and specifications

Bestune Shaoma was introduced at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2023. Both its hardtop and convertible variants are available. It has a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a stunning dual-tone theme on the dashboard. Aerodynamic wheels have been used in this car, which increase its range.

Platforms and design

Bestune Shaoma is based on the FME platform, which is specially designed for electric vehicles. Earlier, a ride-hailing EV named NAT was also built on this platform. The FME platform has two sub-platforms named A1 and A2. A1 is used for cars with 2700-2850 mm wheelbase, while A2 is used for cars with 2700-3000 mm wheelbase. Its 800V architecture increases the range.

Power and security

Powering the Shaoma is a 20kW electric motor, which is located on the rear shaft. It uses a lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery, which is supplied by Goshan and REPT. In terms of safety, the Bestune Shaoma also has a driver side airbag. This car comes with 3-doors and talking about its size, its length is 3000 mm, width 1510 mm and height 1630 mm. Its wheelbase is 1953 mm.

When will it be launched in the Indian market?

Bestune Shaoma is expected to be launched in India. Here it will compete with Tata Tiago EV and MG Comet EV. The demand for micro electric cars is very high in China, and Bestune Shaoma can make a special place in this segment. The launch of this electric car is awaited in the Indian market, as it offers long range at an affordable price.
