WhatsApp takes on Amazon, Flipkart with this new feature

WhatsApp has been focusing more on the shopping experience on its platform for the past few years. It is a part of the company's strategy. Recently a dedicated button was given for shopping in Whatsapp business. Whatsapp has now started 'Cart'. The latest update has the option of add to cart button. If you have used any e-commerce service, then you must have used the Cart or Add to cart feature.

A catalogue of products is received in the WhatsApp Business Account and can be added to the cart through the new feature. By doing this, consumers will be able to continue shopping, keeping the goods of different merchants in the cart during shopping. Under the cart feature of Whatsapp, if you put some items in the cart, then you can remove it at any time. This feature is for Whatsapp Business account, but if the normal consumer visits the merchant account for some shopping then these options will be available.

It is worth noting that the company is continuously expanding the WhatsApp business. The company wants more and more small businesses to come on WhatsApp, which will increase the use of the app. Now that WhatsApp has also introduced WhatsApp Business in India, it is also expected to get its direct benefit. Not all WhatsApp consumers have been able to get it on WhatsApp at present because NPCI has imposed capping on UPI payment and UPI is also based on WhatsApp.
