Farmer Protest: Thousands of farmers from Punjab to reach Delhi

New Delhi: Farmers are constantly strategizing amid protests against agricultural law on the Delhi borders, whether it is assembly elections in five states or the ongoing corona epidemic. Now the farmers have planned to gather at the border once again in large numbers. This is when there was news in the past that a woman sitting with agitating farmers had died of corona infection.

Now, according to information shared by the United Kisan Morcha, on May 11 and 12, farmers of Punjab will gather in large numbers at various borders of Punjab, Haryana, from where they will reach the Delhi border. Farmers from Haryana will also join these groups from different places and reach Delhi. However, the agitating farmer leaders have indicated that they are willing to hold talks with the Central government again. In fact, the National Convention on May 10 has been postponed at the General Assembly of the United Kisan Morcha held yesterday.

The next date will now be fixed at the next meeting of the United Kisan Morcha. The convention was aimed at strengthening and coordinating the farmers' movement at the national level. On the other hand, amid the increasing cases of the corona, farmer leaders sitting on the Ghazipur border have decided that the oxygen level of farmers at the movement site will be checked from time to time.
