Chief EC Sushil Chandra and three judges of Delhi High Court tested covid positive

There has been a steady increase in the number of corona infections in the country. According to new data on Monday, 1,68,912 new cases were registered in one day. According to the Union Health Ministry, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan are reporting the highest number of new cases of the corona. 80.92 percent of new cases have been reported from these 10 states. The Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat governments have also ordered the closure of schools and colleges till April 30 in view of increasing cases. 

In the same country, active cases have crossed 12 lakh, which is 8.88 percent of the total infected cases in the country. According to the ministry, 5 states - Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, and Kerala - accounted for 70.82 percent of the total active cases in India. On the other hand, only Maharashtra's share of active cases is 48.57 percent. Meanwhile, another information is coming out in which it is that the next Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra has also tested covid positive.

With this, three judges of Delhi High Court, Corona have been infected. According to the news received, the Corona report of Judge Jasmeet Singh, Subramanian Prasad, and Sanjeev Sachdeva has come out positive. At the same time, the report of Judge Kameshwar Rao is yet to come. According to the Union Ministry of Health, a total of 10,45,28,565 vaccine doses have been made in the country so far. In this, 9,15,87,400 people have been given the first dose and 1,29,41,165 people have both been dosed. On Sunday, 29,33,418 vaccine doses were administered across the country.
