Three suspected Pakistani smugglers were shot dead by Border Security Force officers in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba area on Sunday. The people who were killed were allegedly attempting to carry drugs. "In the early hours of February 6, the alert troops of BSF Jammu neutralised three Pakistani smugglers who were attempting to smuggle Narcotics through the Samba International Border and recovered 36 packets (approx 36 kgs) of Narcotics, likely Heroin, and thwarted a major smuggling attempt," the BSF said in a statement.
