Three times Chief Minister Arjun Munda is the only Union minister from Jharkhand

Arjun Munda is also a new face in the cabinet. Arjun Munda has been given important responsibility from Jharkhand, who has joined the only Modi Cabinet. He has been appointed the Minister of Tribal Affairs. It is notable that BJP has won 12 seats in 14 seats in Jharkhand. Of which Arjun Munda has won the Peg Lok Sabha seat. He belongs to the tribal community. Therefore, he has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.

Arjun Munda has been Jharkhand's CM three times. He became Chief Minister in 2003, 2005 and 2010. Munda was first elected to the JMM from Kharswa assembly seat in 1995. But in 2000, he joined the BJP party. Arjun Munda became the Chief Minister of BJP at the age of 35 in 2005. Arjun Munda has also been a MP from Jamshedpur for the first time in 2009.
