MUMBAI: The trailer for the upcoming romantic comedy-drama film titled 'Tiku Weds Sheru' was released on Wednesday. The movie stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur in the lead roles. The trailer introduces the story of two aspiring actors who get married. It appears to be a blend of a Bollywood romantic comedy and black comedy, with some similarities to the film 'Delhi Belly'. The movie has a somewhat satirical tone and is well-produced, with impressive lighting and sound design. The dialogues in the trailer are light-hearted, and one line that stands out is Nawazuddin's character saying, "Big risk, big life. No risk, no life." Although the film has a solid storyline, it doesn't seem to take itself too seriously, and the actors are clearly enjoying themselves. The official synopsis of the movie reads: "Sheru and Tiku are marginalized individuals from the underprivileged strata of society. They both have ambitions for a better life, but life has other plans for them. Sheru, also known as Shiraz, comes from Bhopal, a small town in India. He moves to Mumbai in search of a better life. Sheru, who is semi-literate, works as a pimp for a local gangster named Shahid Bhai and also takes up a job as a junior artist to act as a decoy, where he finds girls for his pimping business. He risks everything to gain his boss's trust and be promoted as an equal partner. On the other hand, Tiku lives with her large conservative Muslim family in Bhopal. Hilarious situations arise when these two characters come together, often putting them on the edge." 'Tiku Weds Sheru' is directed and co-written by Sai Kabir and produced by Kangana Ranaut. It will be released on Prime Video on June 23. Sony Pictures Networks India announces Shark Tank India Season 3 Rekha to shoot new promo of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin
