New Delhi: Before the elections in West Bengal, there is a stampede in Mamata Banerjee's party Trinamool Congress (TMC). The party leaders are resigning one by one. Now TMC MP Dinesh Trivedi has resigned from Rajya Sabha. Dinesh announced his resignation during his speech in Rajya Sabha today. It is believed that he can now join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Announcing his resignation, Dinesh said, 'The way violence is happening in Bengal, I feel very awkward sitting here. I can not see this. What to do. We are limited to one place. The party also has some rules. That's why I feel suffocated too. Atrocities are happening there. So today the voice of my soul is saying that if you sit here and say nothing, it is better than you resign. I declare here that I am resigning from Rajya Sabha.' According to information received from sources, Dinesh Trivedi was in constant contact with BJP for the last one month. Right now, during Amit Shah's visit to Bengal, he had a conversation with the veteran leaders of his party. After this, it was decided that he would resign from TMC and join BJP.
