Raipur: The employees working on contract in Chhattisgarh are upset with the functioning of the IAS officers. These contract workers have planned to go on strike in protest. According to the news, all these personnel work on contract in the government departments of the state. On May 13, the contract workers across the state have decided to stop the work. All these employees will gather in the capital Raipur and register their protest. The contract employees organization has appealed to all the employees of the state to participate in this protest. All these workers are demanding their regularization.

It is worth mentioning that according to Kaushalesh Tiwari, the provincial president of Sarva Departmental Contract Employees Federation, about 45 thousand contract workers are posted in 54 government departments of the state. All these 45 thousand workers will go on strike on Friday. In large numbers from across the state, contract workers will register their protest by reaching the protest site at Budha Talab in the capital Raipur.

Expressing his protest, the official related to the federation, Hemant Sinha said that in the year 2018, the government had promised that the contractual employees would be regularised. Thereafter, when the government did not do anything about it, there were many protests. After this, the officials formed a committee for regularization in 2019. Since then, a bus committee is formed every year, nothing happens. He said that this time our demand is that all of us should be regularized by making public the recommendation reports of all the committees so far.
