Toolkit Case: Court hearing scheduled for Nikita Jacob's anticipatory bail plea on March 9

New Delhi: On March 9, on the plea of Nikita Jacob for an anticipatory bail in the toolkit case related to the farmers' movement, there will be a hearing. Justice Dharmendra Rana of the Patiala House Court said that he will hear the petition of Nikita on the 9th, along with the petition of another accused Shantanu. In the toolkit case, accused Nikita Jacob filed a petition for an anticipatory bail in the Patiala House Court on Monday.

Nikita Jacob was arrested from the Mumbai court in this case for 3 weeks on February 17, but the court directed her to plead for an anticipatory bail in the Delhi court itself at the end of this period. Patiala House Court Disha Ravi has already been released on bail in the tool kit case, while the arrest of another accused Shantanu Muluk has been stayed by the court till March 9.

Today, during the hearing, in this case, Nikita Jacob's lawyer Rebecca John told the court that Nikita's arrest is pending till 10 March. Therefore, the court can hear the anticipatory bail plea of both Shantanu and Nikita together on March 9 in this case.
