Top cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, prices today, April 3, 2023

The cryptocurrency markets were trading in negative territory on Monday, April 3, 2023. Ethereum (ETH) went below the USD1,800 mark while Bitcoin (BTC) dropped 2.62% to USD27,706. Bitcoin volume was over USD13.60 billion, up 28.72% over the previous day.

"In the last 24 hours, Bitcoin has traded below the USD28,000 mark as investors wait for new US productivity and employment figures this week. The USD 27,500 level serves as the immediate support, while the USD 28,100 area and the trendline serve as the immediate resistance "Mudrex's co-founder and CEO, Edul Patel, said.

The price of other popular crypto tokens also decreased. Over 7% were lost by Dogecoin. BNB, Solana, and Shiba Inu were all trading at lower prices. The market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies was trading lower at roughly USD1.16 trillion, dropping 2.27% over the previous day.

3.62 billion dollars, or 10.61% of the 24-hour volume of the entire crypto market, are now being traded in DeFi. Stablecoin volume as a whole is currently USD29.78 billion, or 87.42% of the 24-hour volume of the whole crypto market. The value of the greatest cryptocurrency in the world, Bitcoin, was approximately USD536.28 billion. According to CoinMarketCap, the market share of Bitcoin is currently 46.21%, down 0.16% from the previous day.
