Top Cryptocurrency prices today, July 25

Cryptocurrency values fell today, July 25,  with Bitcoin trading below the USD 23,000 barrier. The value of the world's largest and most popular cryptocurrency fell by more than 1% to USD 22,151. 

According to CoinGecko, the global cryptocurrency market valuation is back above USD 1 trillion today, despite falling more than 2% in the last 24 hours to USD 1.06 trillion. Buterin previously shown  in May that the Merge update will take place in August. The present Ethereum Mainnet will "merge" with the beacon chain proof-of-stake system as part of the impending update.

Other crypto values fell today as XRP, Solana, BNB, Litecoin, Stellar, Chainlink, Tron, Apecoin, Avalanche, Polkadot, Polygon, and Tether prices fell over the last 24 hours, while Uniswap increased more than 3 percent.

According to Bloomberg, cryptocurrency exchange Zipmex stated on Sunday that it was contemplating a possible offer after negotiations with interested parties and due diligence.

The Asian platform, which operates in nations such as Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and Australia, was one of several in the digital-assets industry to face financial troubles in recent weeks. Withdrawals were halted last week as the consequences from a number of defaults spread deeper throughout the business.

As insolvency risks loomed large over key crypto lending platforms, the cryptocurrency market struggled to recover from Terra's collapse in May, creating dread among market players.
