In view of these problems caused by the people, the Union Ministry of Road Transport has issued an advisory to all state governments and police of all the states, in which if a driver takes all the papers of his car (RC, Driving License, Insurance, PUC) or if shown in a mobile phone on DigiLocker or M Transport App, it should be considered valid and no fine should be charged. Not only this, but it has also been told in this advisory that if for some reason a driver does not have a mobile or the driver himself does not show his papers in hard copy or digital form to the police, then the police cannot charge a fine for it. Rather, police can check the details of that person in the mParivahan app or e-challan app present.
