Patna: In a distressing incident in Bihar's Buxar district, a woman and her five-year-old daughter were discovered brutally murdered, their throats slit. The victims, identified as Anita Devi (29) and her daughter Soni Kumari, were found lifeless in their residence in Ballapur village. Buxar Superintendent of Police, Manish Kumar, reported that the bodies exhibited signs of being "murdered with some sharp weapon." The police are actively investigating the case, and forensic examination of items recovered from the crime scene is underway to ascertain further details. The husband of the deceased woman, Bablu Yadav, was not present during the incident, having been away in Ara, Bhojpur. Lala Yadav, Anita Devi's father-in-law, informed the police that her other sons made the grim discovery and immediately reported it to the authorities.
