Agartala: The country is currently in the fray and this has led to a stir in politics. In the meantime, a tragic incident is coming to the fore, in fact, at least four BJP leaders, including three women, have died and eight others have been injured when a vehicle capsized in Gomati city southern Tripura. The police reported it on Saturday. The same police officers said that three women and one man were going to their homes riding in a maxi truck along with other workers of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. Then suddenly the vehicle overturned due to loss of control. Four local BJP leaders died in the accident that took place in Chelagang on Friday night. Also, eight BJP workers who were seriously injured were admitted to the government hospital. The deceased Urvashi Kanya Jamatia (45), Mamta Rani Jamatia (26), Rachna Devi Jamatia (30) and Gahin Kumar Jamatia (65) held a public meeting in connection with the election of Tripura Tribal Area Autonomous District Council on 6 April with other BJP workers. After attending, Natun was returning to his home in the market. CM Biplab Kumar Deb and Bharatiya Janata Party state president Manik Saha expressed their condolences over the incident.
