Former TRS minister Rajendra joined BJP, was angry with CM KCR

Hyderabad: Veteran Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) leader and former Telangana Health Minister E Rajendra has joined the BJP. According to sources, Rajendra had been angry with CM KCR. He then decided to join the BJP and joined the BJP today at the BJP office in Delhi in the presence of Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and G Krishna Reddy. Apart from Rajendra, some other TRS leaders are also said to be joining the BJP.

Former TRS minister Rajendra has also resigned as MLA. He had also resigned from the party membership a few days ago. Tell us that Rajendra, who represents Huzurabad constituency, is among the veteran leaders of the ruling TRS. He said, "I wanted to submit a resignation letter directly to the Speaker, but I could not meet him, so under these circumstances I had to resign to the Assembly Secretary".

Talking to media persons before resigning, Rajendra said that many of his well wishers advised him to resign but he is doing so for the self-respect of his constituency and the people of Telangana. Rajendra was expelled from the cabinet last month following complaints that companies owned by his family members had occupied lands in the state.
