Telangana government's double bedroom housing project has received another national recognition

Another national reorganisation was achieved for the Telangana government's double bedroom housing project by getting the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) award with the Kollur project. Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is undertaking a huge project to construct 15,660 double bedroom houses at a cost of Rs 1,408 crore in Kollur.

The project has won the HUDCO Award for Best Practices for 2019-20 under the Housing, Urban Power and Infrastructure theme. To provide 2 BHK homes free of charge to urban poor, GHMC has undertaken construction of 15,660 double bedrooms in Kollur Phase-2. These units are provided with external electrification and street lights with underground cable network along with the underground drainage system with pipe sewage supply and sewage treatment plant.

Parks, playgrounds, open spaces, commercial complex, community centres, schools, Anganwadi centres, bus stops, police station, fire station, milk booth, petrol bunks, integrated hospital, banks, ATMs and other facilities that are extended in the Honor house of Kollur.
