The shooting of TV serials had stopped since the lock down. The cast and crew members were in a lot of trouble in such a situation. Recently, when the Maharashtra government allowed the makers of TV serials to shoot again, listen to this news, there was a rush of joy in the industry. Shooting of serials like TV shows 'Kumkum Bhagya', 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', 'Kundali Bhagya', and 'Kurbaan Hua' were to begin on 23 June 2020 but this has not happened. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) and the Cine and Television Artists Association (CINTAA) have canceled the shooting of all TV serials. FWICE and CINTAA jointly issued a statement stating that despite the instructions given by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Ministry, many producers have not paid the remaining money to the artists and technicians. Therefore, they will not be allowed to shoot, they can get permission to shoot only when they will settle the account by paying the outstanding money to their team. The statement issued by FWICE and CINTAA stated that, 'We are very sad to say that even after strict instructions from the IB Ministry, from the time the lockdown was announced, many producers have yet to pay the money of artists and technicians. As soon as everyone gets the money, the serials will be allowed to shoot.' Producers will also have to follow the new rules stated. According to these rules, the artist and the rest of the team members can shift for only 8 hours. Day laborers and technicians will have to pay as the day ends. No artist and team member has to be approved for pay cut. Everyone will get a break in the week. Shooting of well-known serials of TV like 'Shakti Atitva Ke Ehsaas Ki', 'Radhakrishna', 'Pyaar ki lukachhupi' has started and soon viewers will see new episodes of these serials on TV.
