TVS Ronin Images Leaked Ahead of Launch

The TVS Motor Company is all set to launch a brand new motorcycle in the country on July 6, 2022. While according to rumors the motorcycle was previously called Zeppelin R or Retron, however, the company’s upcoming model is named TVS Ronin. TVS is also very discreet about its new product but the latest leaked images of the motorcycle gave the fans a glimpse of what can be expected from the all-new TVS Ronin.

The upcoming TVS Ronin will be a lot different from any other TVS motorcycles we have seen so far. In terms of design, it gives off a retro appeal and looks like a scrambler. The motorcycle will have a round-shaped LED headlamp with a T-shaped LED DRL. The image reveals that it will sport a muscular fuel tank with the TVS logo, a single-piece tan seat, a bash plate for engine protection, and more.

While other details of the motorcycle are yet to be known, the upcoming TVS Ronin is expected to get a slightly bigger and updated version of the Apache RTS 200 4V’s mill. It is also expected to feature a 225cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This motor is likely to churn out 20 bhp and 19 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Similar to the various TVS products, one can expect the Ronin to be feature-rich as well.  In terms of hardware, it will get golden-colored USD forks at the front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. The braking duties will be performed by disc brakes at either end with dual-channel ABS possibly as standard. Upon launch, the TVS Ronin will rival the likes of the Yamaha FZ-X, Honda CB350 RS, etc.
