PESHAWAR: As many ad133 people, including a top nationalist head, were killed while at least 200 others injured in a powerful suicide blast which was a targeted attack on separate poll rallies in Pakistan on Friday. The twin blasts were the deadliest in a series of stabbing on nominees ahead of the July 25 general polls in Pakistan. The United Nations and a number of world leaders have strongly damned the attack on political candidates in Pakistan. Terrorist targeted a gathering of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) leader Siraj Raisani in Mastung area in the distressed Balochistan region. "Raisani succumbed to wounds while he was being shifted to Quetta," District Police Officer Mohammad Ayub Achakzai informed. It is noted that Raisani is the brother of ex Chief Minister of Balochistan Nawab Aslam Raisani. The Islamic State terror group has held the responsibility for the attack that left 128 people dead, police officials asserted. Worth mention here the outfit declared the claim through its Aamaq news agency without given further details. At least 128 people, including Raisani, were killed in the deadly twin blast, police officials informed. Pakistan Local media confirmed the death toll, quoting Balochistan's Home Minister Agha Umar Bangalzai.
