New Delhi: The microblogging site is not naming the end of clashes between Twitter and the Government of India. Meanwhile, Twitter has now unverified the account of Rajeev Chandrashekhar, the new Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology of the Modi government at the Centre, and removed the blue tick from his handle. According to media reports, this has been done due to change of username or handle of the minister's Twitter account. According to reports, Rajeev Chandrasekhar's user name was earlier Rajeev MP. Which he later changed his user name to Rajeev GOI. Due to this, microblogging site Twitter removed the blue tick from his account. However, there is no statement from Twitter in this regard at present. On the controversy Twitter after assuming office, Chandrashekhar had said that the Ministry does not act on a unilateral basis. On the Twitter's dispute with the Government of India over the new IT rules, he said, "I have just taken charge. The Ministry does not work on a one-sided basis and has nothing to do with personal views and ideas. The Ministry will sit with the new Union Minister and resolve all these issues."
