Separated in partition of 1947, now after 74 years two brothers met

Amritsar: Mohammad Siddiqui was very young at the time of the partition of India in 1947. His family was shattered during the partition. Siddiqui's brother Habib alias Shela grew up in India after partition. Now, after a long gap of 74 years, the Kartarpur corridor (which connects Gurudwara Darbar Sahib in Pakistan to India) merged the two brothers.

 

Now the video of the two brothers is going viral on social media. People are getting very emotional seeing it and reacting to it. According to media reports, Mohammad Siddiqui lives in Faisalabad, Pakistan. While his brother's house is in Punjab, India. When the two brothers saw each other in Kartarpur, they could not hold back their tears. The two hugged each other and cried profusely. The viral video shows both brothers in the Kartarpur corridor. They are accompanied by some others. The video showed the two brothers hugging each other emotionally.

Both brothers have thanked the Government of India and Pakistan for opening the Kartarpur Corridor. Through this corridor, the people of India can go to Kartarpur in Pakistan without a visa. The corridor began in November 2019.
