The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to begin his Srilanka today. It will be a two-day visit. He will visit today to attend International Vesak Day celebrations in Colombo with President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe as the chief guest.
PM Modi tweeted "Will be in Sri Lanka for two-day visit during which I will join Vesak Day celebrations & other programmes,"
This is going to be the second visit of Prime Minister to Srilanka. On March 15 he had gone to Srilanka.
