The Indian Railways have always put travellers’ convenience first and foremost even amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This times again, several festival special trains have been extended. The daily twin trains between Indore-Jodhpur are going to restart from Wednesday following the long gap of about 9 months. One train will run via Ujjain-Nagda and another via Ratlam-Chhitorgarh. This will be the third train for travellers going to Rajasthan, the other two being Indore-Jaipur and Indore-Udaipur. According to official information of Ratlam Division of Western Railway, the train number 02459/02460 Jodhpur-Indore-Jodhpur train will run as a special train. The train is being restarted keeping in view the facilities and demands of railway passengers. Train number 02459 Jodhpur-Indore special train started the operation from Tuesday at 5 am and the train will reach the city at 9.15 pm hrs via Nagda (arrival/departure-18.05 / 18.20), Ujjain (19.10 /19.15), and Dewas (19.56/ 19.58). Similarly, train number 02460 Indore-Jodhpur special train is going to restart daily operation from Wednesday till next order. The train will depart from the city at 06.00 am to Dewas (arrival/departure06.26 / 06.28), Ujjain (07.35 / 07.40) and Nagda (08.57 / 09.12) and finally reach Jodhpur at 22.30 hours. The train will stoppages from both sides at Raika Bagh, Gotan, Merta Road, Rain, Degana, Makrana, Kuchaman City, Nava City, Sambhar Lake, Phulera, Jaipur, Durgapura, Biradhawal, Isarda, Chauth ka Bavra, Sawai Madhopur, Indergarh, Lakeri, Kota, Dakania Talav, Ramgang, Bhawani Mandi, Shamgarh, Chaumhala, Vikramgarh Alot, Nagda, Ujjain and Dewas stations. The train will have 5 third AC, 5 sleepers and 4 general class coaches. India's first metro will not run between Mumbai-Ahmedabad!
