Kabul: Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, has once again been rocked by bomb blasts, in which two separate blasts killed at least two people and five others are said to be injured. The police here confirmed the incident. Kabul police spokesman Firdaus Faramarj has informed the press about this. Firdaus Faramarge reported that an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in a moving four-wheeler exploded at 8:55 am local time in Kart-e-Parwan of Police District 4 as well as Kabul Airport. A four-lane road connecting the base to the Intercontinental Hotel also exploded, killing two people in the car and injuring another. He further said that this car overturned after the explosion and caught fire. Firdaus further said that on the same day, a similar vehicle was targeted at Kart-e-Ariana in Police District 2 in an IED blast, in which four people were injured. According to a Xinhua news agency report, no terrorist group has yet claimed responsibility for these blasts.
